Using the TreoScope EnterSafe System
At the busy entries of our clients’ premises, delays are frustrating. Door people need to admit customers quickly, which can be a challenge when they must take care to confirm their identities and age.
TreoScope EnterSafe’s user interface was developed with three imperative characteristics in mind: It had to be simple, easy to use, and fast.
To make it simple, we developed a graphical interface that presents information with large images and prominent icons on an LCD screen. Graphics are highly intuitive, and easy to understand.
TreoScope EnterSafe requires only a swipe / barcode reader (for customers’ ID). Security staff then compares the image on the ID with the individual, making a final validity check.
TreoScope EnterSafe works with remarkable speed: In a fraction of a second—less than the time it takes to swipe the ID—the TreoScope EnterSafe system checks the date of birth on the ID and validates whether the customer is old enough to be granted entry, checks the expiry date to make sure the ID is valid, checks for Notes and Community Alerts, presenting them to security staff on screen, checks how often that patron has been in the establishment, and captures a live photo of the individual presenting the ID. It’s so fast that there’s no impact on the length of time it takes to grant people entry into the establishment.

Verification of Customers & Identification
In a fraction of a second, TreoScope EnterSafe validates customers’ identification in four ways:
Age Verification: Not only does TreoScope EnterSafe confirm a customer is of legal drinking age, but it also calculates their actual age, and presents it on-screen. This empowers the doorperson to confirm the age reasonably matches the apparent age of the individual who presented the ID card—whether a driver’s license or some other government ID.
Multiple Use Notification: TreoScope EnterSafe confirms whether the same identification card has been used previously on the same date. The operator can then review the live photo TreoScope EnterSafe took during the previous entry, to ensure two individuals aren’t using the same ID.
Expiry Verification: Often, expired identification is passed on to someone underage, who hopes to use that ID to gain entry. TreoScope EnterSafe will verify that presented identification is still valid.
Authenticity Verification: TreoScope EnterSafe validates most States’ and Provinces’ IDs, confirming data on each ID matches government standards for information encoding. This is an important tool for detecting fraudulent ID.
Our Clients’ Accountability
Our clients are liable when minors gain access to their premises, despite the fraudulent means by which those minors enter nightclubs, bars, and other entertainment venues.
When used properly, TreoScope EnterSafe’s verification features prevent a majority of fraudulent entries, and our clients’ liability is minimized if they can provide evidence of due diligence to law enforcement personnel.
By searching their database for names or photos of individual customers and the data they used to gain access to our clients’ premises, clients are able to hold minors accountable for identity fraud.
Moreover, TreoScope EnterSafe users are empowered to foster safer environments, because patrons know their name and photograph are held within the TreoScope EnterSafe system. Responsible operators always attempt to ensure a safe environment, but they can’t control every patron. In those instances when problems do arise, security personnel can locate troublesome individuals within the system, and provide pertinent information to law enforcement.
