TreoScope EnterSafe Empowers New York
Nightclubs To Comply With New “Best Practices” Plan
NEW YORK – Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly, City Council Speaker Christine C. Quinn, and New York Nightlife Association President David Rabin announced on October 18, 2007, a 58-point program of “Best Practices” to maintain safety in bars and clubs. It’s also intended to combat violence, drug sales, underage drinking, over consumption of alcohol, prostitution and other illegal activity.
In the midst of ongoing problems taking place in New York nightclubs, the TreoScope EnterSafe Gateway Security System allows owners and operators to comply with many of the Best Practices guidelines.
Combined with its ability to verify age, the system allows nightclub owners to network with other users of the EnterSafe system to flag trouble makers and share system wide Community Alerts. Community Alerts are disseminated to all TreoScope EnterSafe clients, effectively laying a blanket of security across an entire community.
The system bridges the gap between nightclub owners, the City and the Police, by facilitating communication between all parties and addressing the problems of violence witnessed in and around nightclubs.
